Immoral Code // Stop Killer Robots_

I was approached by The Campaign to Stop Killer Robots to produce a piece of artwork alongside 4 other artists for variations to be used as a front cover of a forthcoming documentary and global poster campaign.

The work would support their discussions at the United Nations concerning artificial intelligence with the capacity to make kill decisions independently of Human interaction, a subject at the forefront of global discussions around AI legislation.

BBC Click // DNA Data Storage_

I was commissioned by the BBC in 2019 to create a piece of art for their tech based science show Click at their London studios and annual live show featuring some of the most cutting edge emergent technological advancements of the year. Demonstrating the future of data storage, I would become the first person to use paint mixed with synthetic DNA that contained stored data.

UB40 // Various Projects_

I’ve worked with UB40 a few times over the years. From a billboard high-jacking to subvert the tory party conference in 2019, to some cover art, and more recently a tribute to Brian Travers as part of a memorial room for a school the band have close ties to.

Wherever I’ve traveled in the world these guys have always flooded the airwaves, every summer garden party in the city features one of their numerous hits. They’re part of the fabric of the city, so it’s an honour to in some small way be part of that legacy.

Youth Projects_

Birmingham University // Youth Voices_

It was a great feeling to walk through the gates of my old university to lead workshops on the grounds and have the work displayed on site in a building I have a close history with. The project was overseen and put together by Dr Sophie King Hill as part of a research project focusing on graffiti as a vehicle to empower youth voices.

Through projects like this it’s become clear I enjoy mentoring and teaching, I have come to see it as a way of paying forward some of the insights and help I’ve received on my own often chaotic journey.

Ghetto Golf // UK_

Some of my earliest commissioned characters and and certainly my first portraits were for the guys at Ghetto Golf, now Golf Fang.

Their trust gave me space to develop my craft and that in turn gave me the confidence to push myself outside my comfort zone more, it was foundational in many ways. Being given random ideas, often eccentric, put me on the spot and led to some of my fav pop culture style work.
