ABOUT_

Void One returned to painting quite late after a few years dabbling in his early to late teens, having produced music, run labels, events, and sound systems for over 15 years, culminating in an album being listed in the British Library Sound and Moving Image Catalogue under the Beta Test Records imprint.

Developing a more graphic style through the production of digital artwork for various albums and labels led to taking lessons from Photoshop and a more vector style to fully hand drawn studio work and large scale productions on walls across the UK and beyond.

Void gained notoriety in 2018 for his Fit For Work protests against the DWP, painting murder scene outlines across a string of job centers throughout the Midlands, painting the slogan in 8 foot letters across the front of their head office, resulting in a comedy police chase, fine and victims awareness course.

Credited as the first person in the world to paint with DNA sequenced with stored data [BBC Click], Void is now working as an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur experimenting with augmented reality, fusing years of production experience to transform his paintings and the spaces around them into fully interactive environments.
