‘Death From A Dove’ is a satirical take on the oxymoron “fighting for peace”. It portrays a world in which the concept of peace is resigned to a hollow platitude regurgitated by governments complicit in the arms trade, whilst deploring the barbarity of global terrorism. The last green leaf has fallen from the laurels, withered in the mouth of a suicide dove. The conceptual framework upon which peace is founded literally explodes before your eyes, portraying the hypocrisy of the prevailing militaristic paradigm in a visceral, confrontational, yet strangely beautiful image.
